Project Groups is a small-group classification that divides the 32 types into 4 by the kind of projects (how tasks are set up and pursued) people undertake. The Concrete Results group is the one that implements generalized plans into concrete reality.
The Character of This Group
In the primary source, this group is described as follows.
They implement a generalized plan into something concrete. They will not wait for long, and direct their attention only to projects that can be implemented immediately. They specialize in construction and habitation. They work at the interface between the social and the managerial spheres.
── From V. Gulenko, "Waves of Aging and Renewal ── Directions of Progress Linked to Jungian Aspects" (1996)
This group excels at bringing finished conceptions down into the reality of "here and now." Taking the approach of grasping the overall picture first and descending from there to the concrete, they also will not wait. They only move on what can take form in a short time.
Their field of activity is creating the places where people actually live and work ── construction and habitation. They produce comfortable conditions and also organize and protect the places they have built. Their strength is the drive to bring plans into reality at one stroke without stagnation; their weakness is that they are ill-suited to long-term conceptions or tasks that require maturation over time.
Position Among the 4 Groups
The Concrete Results group is determined by the combination of perception (Sensing) and approach (Result). Process unfolds matters divergently, opening them up; Result narrows down convergently, finishing them.
| Axis | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sensing | Perception that grasps the concrete detail, texture, and actuality of the object |
| Result | An approach that draws boundaries and brings things to completion. It grasps the overall picture first, narrowing down (convergently) from frame to detail |
The 8 Member Types
Model K Sub-classification ── Static / Dynamic (Si / Se)
This group is further divided into two by the nature of the perceptive function (static / dynamic). For sensing groups, this corresponds to whether the leading sensing element is Si (sensing that grasps continuously and temporally) or Se (sensing that grasps discretely and spatially). Si follows the continuous interplay of body and environment ── comfort, smoothness, the shifting of states. Se holds objects and territories as bounded, discrete spaces and borders. In the Model K Q/D system, each pole contains 4 types.
Dynamic (Si) ── Continuous, Temporal
They tend toward producing comfortable states continuously and toward keeping them well-ordered.
Static (Se) ── Discrete, Spatial
They tend toward bounding, organizing, and defending by force the territory they have secured.
※ This static / dynamic division is common to all 4 groups, subdividing Project Groups overall into 8 sub-groups. The above indicates tendencies at the group level and is not a definitive statement about individual types.
Internal Structure ── Average Comfort 42.9
The 8 types of the Concrete Results group are not a tightly-bound group sharing values like a Quadra. Alongside Compass, Belonging, Kindred, and Resonance relations, the group also includes tense relations such as Quasi-Identity and Codependency. It is a practical gathering of people in different positions bound together by heading toward "the same kind of project."
| Internal relation | Pairs |
|---|---|
| Compass | 4 pairs |
| Quasi-Identity | 4 pairs |
| Codependency | 4 pairs |
| Tense Beneficiary | 4 pairs |
| Supervisor | 4 pairs |
| Business | 2 pairs |
| Belonging | 2 pairs |
| Kindred | 2 pairs |
| Resonance | 2 pairs |
