Nancy Reagan

First Lady · American · 20th c.

Wife of 40th US President Ronald Reagan. Known for the "Just Say No" anti-drug campaign. She was deeply involved in running the administration as a key adviser including astrology, and in her later years she cared single-handedly for her husband who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. A controversial figure: her fierce protectiveness was admired by some and criticised by others.
