John Woolman
EII-D "共感者" Religious Activist · USA · 18cAmerican Quaker activist (1720–1772). During colonial-era America he travelled from house to house among Quakers, seeking by personal persuasion the renunciation of slaveholding — a pioneering abolitionist. "The Journal of John Woolman" is regarded as a foundational Quaker spiritual text.
