Concentration / Unfolding
Definition
Concentration gathers information within an object and integrates it locally. Unfolding connects meanings, actions or events into a sequence. It is not the same as divergent thinking.
It's not about concentration or lack of concentration. Expansion is not synonymous with divergence. Expansion is the integration of the preceding and following relationships as a series, and does not mean the speed or procedure of processing one by one in sequence.
Unfolding
Understand how a water wheel works

Concentration
Make the relationships inside the water wheel into one whole.
Seeker ILE-Q
Unfolding
Rain, water flow, rotation, and flour milling are connected as an unfolding series.

Concentration
Gather information within the subject you are currently dealing with and organize your understanding within it. It appears in the form of comparing the parts of a single object to create a cohesive whole.
- The explanation links the information that makes up the object and brings it together into a single image.
- Through conversation, try to deepen your understanding of the subject matter being discussed.
In this object, these are connected as follows.
If we lean toward integration within a subject, the meaning that connects to the preceding and succeeding events and the next activity may be omitted from the explanation.
Unfolding
Connect meanings, actions, and events before and after them, and summarize your understanding as a series. It appears as an explanation of what a piece of information will receive and what it will lead to.
- The explanation connects the relationship with previous events and what happened afterward.
- When understanding work, look at the connections between processes, not just individual movements.
This follows the previous one and leads to the next one.
If you are biased toward integrating series, you may connect stories without fully checking the internal aspects of each subject.
