DEFINITION

Definition

Suspension leaves unknown information unresolved without forcing an answer. Supposition imagines possible states even where information is missing.

It does not directly express the degree of obedience, distrust, or risk avoidance.

Suspension

You can leave the parts you don't understand as they are. It appears as a person who differentiates between what has been confirmed and what is unconfirmed, and who does not immediately apply explanations to the blanks.

  • When you can't read the other person's intentions, you only accept what they say and do without deciding on the reason.
  • Even when we receive new information, we leave things undecided on which we don't have any basis for judgment.
I don't know about that yet. Let's look at it without knowing.

If we are biased towards retaining the unknown, we may be delayed in responding to situations where we need to make assumptions and prepare, even if the situation is unconfirmed.

Supposition

Assume possible situations even when you don't know. It appears as a person who takes a perspective to fill in gaps in information and handles the situation including that perspective.

  • When you can't read the other person's intentions, try to imagine possible reasons behind them.
  • When we come into contact with new information, we make assumptions about conditions that have not yet been confirmed.
Here are some things we don't know yet:

If you lean toward unknown complements, the line between your assumptions and confirmed facts may become blurred.
